We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is built into how this site is made, not a bolt-on overlay.
What we've done
Semantic HTML with proper landmarks and one main heading per page
Color contrast that meets WCAG AA
Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
A “skip to content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users
Respect for the operating system's “reduce motion” setting
Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
On-site accessibility tools
The round accessibility button in the bottom-left corner opens a panel of display preferences. These are conveniences for visitors who want them; the site is built to work without them. Your choices are saved on your device, and adding ?a11y=reset to any page address clears them. The panel includes:
Bigger text (three steps: 110%, 125%, 150%)
Line height (three steps)
Text align
Readable font
High contrast
Grayscale
Hide images
Pause animations (also pauses background video)
Highlight links
Reading mask (follows your mouse or keyboard focus; not available on touch screens)
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is never "finished." We run automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks (axe-core) and keyboard checks on this site, and we fix issues as we find them. Automated tools catch only part of what matters, so some content may not yet be fully accessible. We're always improving.
